Hangang Festival

This year, the Hangang Festival once again gathers up all the happiness, joy, romance, and adventure the Han River can offer in summer, so that everyone can take part.

The lineup includes a water race where you sail a handmade boat to collect summer fruit floating on the river; night screenings of nostalgic dramas and spine-chilling horror films paired with summer night snacks; a water drone show that glides across the river's surface, synced to jazz and sing-along K-pop with dancing lights and fireworks; DJ, hip-hop, trot, and band beats ringing out from an infinity pool lit by city nightscapes; and a thrilling tightrope-walking performance in the water play area.

There's also the coolest cinema under a bridge that you can only find on the Han River in midsummer; the Water Picnic at Seoul Forest, packed with family water play and colorful hands-on programs; silent DJ parties and yoga sessions where you slip on headphones to feel the heat more intensely yet more healthily; a 10th-anniversary overnight Hangang walking event; and special ways to enjoy the river aboard paddleboards, kayaks, yachts, tube-stars, and cruises.
