When you think of summer, you think of the sea — and when you think of the sea, you think of the Busan Sea Festival! Now in its 30th year, the 30th Busan Sea Festival is Busan's signature summer event, running for seven days from August 7 to 13, 2026 around Dadaepo Beach.
Set against the open sea and sunsets of Dadaepo, the program is built around a sensory, high-energy atmosphere. In particular, this milestone 30th year is planned as a "community-shared festival" that shines a spotlight on the passionate energy of Busan's youth and close cooperation with local businesses.
The opening night ceremony on Friday, August 7 — which kicks off the festival in spectacular style — features the "Dada Fireworks Show," designed to make the most of Dadaepo Beach's overwhelming sense of openness, raising the curtain on seven days of festivities to a thrilling high.
