Summer means the sea, and the sea means the Busan Sea Festival! Marking its 30th anniversary, the 30th Busan Sea Festival, Busan's signature summer festival, runs for seven days from August 7 to 13, 2026 around Dadaepo Beach. Set against Dadaepo's wide-open sea and sunsets, the programs are composed in a sensual, energy-filled mood. Especially in this milestone 30th year, the festival is planned as a 'community co-prosperity festival' that spotlights the burning passion of Busan's youth and close cooperation with local businesses. At the nighttime opening ceremony on Friday, August 7, which raises the festival's dazzling curtain, the 'Dadae Fireworks Show' makes the most of the beach's sweeping openness and is set to lift the start of the seven-day festival to its peak.
