About this event
The 2026 Ground Forces Festival is South Korea's largest military culture festival, hosted by the Republic of Korea Army. A non-profit public-interest event, it promotes the Army's development and future policies, builds public trust in the military, and spreads positive values — running for five days from Thursday, October 1 to Monday, October 5 on the runway at Gyeryongdae, Chungcheongnam-do.
Now in its 22nd year, the 2026 festival takes "The ROK Army, Protecting the Everyday Lives of Our People" as its theme. Visitors can see and experience the latest ROK–US combat equipment on display and through ride-alongs, watch Army TIGER+ and drone-bot demonstrations, and verify firsthand — through demonstrations, exhibitions, and hands-on activities at the Army Policy Pavilion — the AI- and advanced-technology-based combat systems and the changing face of the Army.
There's also a rich lineup of high-caliber military culture performances, including military-band and honor-guard shows, taekwondo demonstrations, military-police MC maneuver demonstrations, performances by the Army performance team, and a road parade.
