About this event
Drawing about one million visitors a year, the Janghang Songrim Natural Recreation Forest spans roughly 280,000 square meters of pine woodland planted with six million lilyturf (monkey grass) shoots, forming the nation's largest lilyturf colony. Set beside the West Sea, it's a destination where a seaside pine forest and a lilyturf colony combine, letting visitors enjoy both forest recreation and natural scenery.
The Janghang Lilyturf Flower Festival harnesses these natural assets, running a wide range of programs centered on the colony — cultural performances, hands-on activities, exhibitions, sales of local specialties, and food. It also operates culture and tourism content built around the forest's scenery and tourism resources, offering seasonal sights and experiences while standing as a regional flagship festival where nature and culture are in harmony.
