About this event
This year is a special one, marking the 10th Yesan Market Samguk Festival and the 100th year of Yesan Market. The festival will convey the lives and stories held in "gukbap, guksu, and gukhwa" (rice soup, noodles, and chrysanthemums) and the endless message of hope with which Yesan Market begins its next 100 years. It will pack the past decade of records and the wishes of county residents, vividly and securely, into a hope-chest called "Samguk."
Under the theme "A Story That Never Ends," the festival unfolds across four expansions — of value, of space, of participation, and of time. Carrying the slogan "Yesan Market! Our story continues," it lifts the festive mood across the entire region and presents the brand of a local festival through collaboration with regional young local-creators and youth organizations.
Centered on a signature program — selected from the 10 must-do "bucket list" items of the Samguk Festival — it will strengthen the Samguk content and activate a food-and-culture scene shared with local residents.
