Daejeon Seo-gu Art Festival

A flowing feast of light, culture, and the arts in the heart of the city, the 2026 Daejeon Seo-gu Art Festival runs for three days from October 9 to 11 around Seo-gu Office (Saemmori and Boramae Park). First held in 2016, the festival marks its tenth edition this year under the theme 'Chilling with Seo-gu Art,' a culture and arts festival built from the latest trends and a rich variety of programs. Through an art market joined by artists from across the country, visitors can view and purchase a wide range of works, while hands-on programs inspired by culture and the arts and an array of cultural performances round out a festival that stands among Daejeon's signature events. Beyond the headline programs, outdoor sculpture displays and special exhibitions offer more art to discover at every corner of the venue, and with plenty for the whole family to enjoy, the festival is a chance to recharge through culture on a crisp autumn day.
