About this event
The 2026 Korea Forest Expo is an event that brings together the value, policy, and industry of forests in one place, held around Saengmyeongnuri Park in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. The expo features a Mountain Day commemoration ceremony and an opening ceremony, along with the Forest Youth forum, the Forest Golden Bell quiz contest, cultural and arts performances, and music concerts. In particular, the largest fireworks display in Cheongju adds a signature spectacle to the expo. Promotional and exhibition booths from forest-related organizations run alongside hands-on programs such as woodworking, forest healing therapy, and companion planting, while forest product sales booths and the Chungbuk craft fair offer exhibitions, experiences, and shopping all connected to forests.
