About this event
The 4th Gwangmyeong Cave Light Festival, held in 2026 throughout the Gwangmyeong Cave area, is a participatory festival of light. Under this year's theme, 'Forest of Light, Awakening Life', the festival creates spaces where light and life flow together and is designed so that citizens and visitors can enjoy and take part in a variety of content together. During the festival period, an opening ceremony will be followed by a drone light show and diverse performances, alongside programs visitors can join directly, including experiences, exhibitions, and a market. The venue offers a main stage and media content along with experience booths, an environmental campaign booth, and rest areas, and a food zone will also operate for food sales. Through attractions, performances, and participatory content that draw on the distinctive character of Gwangmyeong Cave's spaces and the play of light, the festival is composed so that citizens and visitors can enjoy the celebration while thinking together about the value of nature and the environment.
