Animal Happiness Festa

The 2026 Seoul Animal Happiness Festa is a participatory festival held to mark Seoul Animal Protection Day, sharing with citizens a culture in which people and animals live together. Taking place October 17-18 at the square in front of the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, it presents a variety of programs that pet owners and non-owners alike, as well as families, can enjoy together. Programs include the 'Animal Happiness Run', where dogs and their guardians walk along the Hangang River together; 'Seol Chae-hyun's Pet Talk Live', which talks through everyday concerns about life with companion animals; the 'Dog Life, Round Two Show Contest', featuring the special stories of adopted dogs and their guardians; and the 'Pimky Red Carpet Adoption Event', introducing animals waiting for new families. In addition, the 'Animal Protection PLAY Zone' lets visitors experience animal welfare issues concerning wildlife, farm animals, laboratory animals, service animals, and exhibition animals through games and missions, and a wide range of on-site programs will be on hand, including behavior and health consultations, animal registration, a stray-animal adoption campaign, a pet-culture true-or-false quiz, and a photo zone. It is a citizen-participation festival of animal culture where anyone with love for animals can take a step further and easily, joyfully experience ways for people and animals to live happily together.
