Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival

The Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival sets up festival streets around the theme 'DMZ Gaeseong Ginseng, Strength That Springs Up Like Magic,' offering plenty to see, taste, and enjoy. The 'Enjoy (things to see)' section presents a national Jangdan Sambaek cooking contest with some twenty teams competing, along with busking and stage performances, exhibition halls, and other attractions, plus a promotional pavilion for information and exchange. The 'Taste (things to eat)' section, true to the founding purpose of the festival, operates direct-trade stalls so that everyone who comes during the festival can buy quality fresh ginseng. The 'Together (things to do)' section runs paid and free experience programs open to all ages, along with a ginseng auction event. If you are looking for a healthy, fun outing this fall, a visit to the Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival comes highly recommended.
