About this event

The 2026 Culture and Art Festival for the Disabled (A+ Festival) is a culture and arts festival where disabled artists, non-disabled artists, and citizens all communicate and come together through art. Under the theme 'Shining Brightly, Tales from a Land of Stars,' the festival captures how people with their own personalities and talents connect and find harmony through art, just as different stars come together to form one beautiful constellation. The festival aims to shine a light on the creative work and artistic talents of disabled artists and to foster an environment where everyone can enjoy culture and the arts equally, beyond the boundary between disability and non-disability. To this end, it presents performances in a variety of genres including music, dance, and theater; exhibitions showcasing works by disabled artists; and hands-on programs that citizens can join in person. It also broadens artistic exchange through collaborative stages where disabled and non-disabled artists perform together, giving citizens opportunities to experience diverse artistic expression and values. Held from October 16 to 18, 2026 at Magok Plaza in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, the festival opens a space for cultural and artistic exchange where people come to understand each other's differences through art and share the values of diversity and coexistence.
