About this event
"Groove in Gwanak" won the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the 19th Korea Local Autonomy Management Grand Prize and hosts a linked battle with Japan's WDC World Dance Colosseum.
Now in its 5th year, the 2026 "Groove in Gwanak" is a global festival and Gwanak-gu's leading youth culture festival, featuring street dance battles and diverse street-culture content.
Dancers of all genres, including popping, locking, waacking, breaking, house, and krump, take part, with a "Youth Open Style 2-on-2 Battle" and global battles with a total prize pool of 7 million won.
It will be held at the Gwanak Art Hall on July 11 (Sat) to 12 (Sun).
