2026 Seoul Hanok Week

From Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 11, the city of Seoul holds the 4th 2026 Seoul Hanok Week, a ten-day event across the Bukchon and Seochon areas.

Seoul Hanok Week is a multidisciplinary cultural event organized together with hanok-related institutions, organizations, and residents, offering exhibitions, lectures and guided tours, hands-on activities, performances, and events that showcase Seoul's hanok in many different ways. Programs take place around Bukchon and Seochon and in Seoul's public hanok, with information available through the Seoul Hanok Portal and social media.

This year introduces a new K-living exhibition developed in collaboration with brands to present everyday life in Seoul hanok, and the festival will broaden its stage by working with partner institutions — including a tie-in with Bukchon Day, Bukchon's flagship neighborhood culture festival — to run diverse programs throughout the hanok village area.

Under the theme 'Everyday Life in Seoul Hanok', the 2026 Seoul Hanok Week captures the evolving role of hanok as it extends beyond tourism into everyday living spaces, presenting exhibitions, performances, docent tours, and other varied programs that let visitors experience the spaces and charm of hanok.
