About this event
The 2026 Wonju SME Excellent Products Expo is a city-center community festival that draws on Wonju's industrial resources and the outstanding products of local small and medium enterprises to offer things to see, eat, and enjoy. Held October 2-4, 2026 around Wonju's Youth Plaza, the expo is hosted by Wonju City and organized by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Economic Promotion Agency. The venue features SME product exhibition and sales booths, free hands-on booths, a flea market, food trucks, a kids' zone, and a main stage. Experience programs include making kkae-gangjeong (sweet sesame crisps), mugs, mother-of-pearl jewel boxes, and terrariums, and a drone-flight simulator, while family visitors can join children's economic education, a cooking contest, OX quiz games, AI Golden Bell, and a kids' talent show. Bringing the region's products, food, and hands-on content together in one space, the expo promotes local companies while giving visitors more reasons to stay.
