2026 Wonju Dancing Carnival

The 2026 Wonju Dancing Carnival is a global K-dancing festival centered on K-pop and a wide variety of dance and performance, created together by citizens and visiting teams from Korea and abroad. Competitions across many categories, including K-Street, children's and youth street, senior, everyday dance, local district, performance, and free dance, open a stage where anyone, across generations and borders, can connect and have fun through dance. The carnival also presents a fringe festival of cultural and artistic performances for all generations and stages by everyday artists and specially invited teams, alongside food booths, food trucks, a flea market, and other varied side programs. Under the slogan 'A Dancing City, a Festival to Stay', Wonju is growing into a festival city where dance and culture truly breathe, advancing the revitalization of local arts and culture and the globalization of the festival through voluntary citizen participation and exchange with teams from home and abroad. The 2026 Wonju Dancing Carnival takes place over three days from September 18 to 20 around the Dancing Carnival performance venues.
