A Fortress City in the Forest - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa

The 2026 A Fortress City in the Forest - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa is an experiential program for sharing the value of a World Heritage site together with citizens, unfolding across Namhansanseong. Throughout the fortress, visitors can reflect on the historical value and beauty that Namhansanseong holds, with a varied lineup of experiences, performances, and tours. The Festa consists of four programs: 〈Traditional Culture Experience〉, which brings the fortress's history and traditions to life through hands-on activities; 〈Eco-History Camp〉, which explores the fortress's ecology through guided commentary and nature-based experiences; 〈Namhansanseong Yeonhuihanmadang〉, which adds excitement with theater and Korean traditional music performances; and 〈Chuseok Special Program〉, which fills the Namhansanseong Chuseok holiday with light and music. Visitors can experience up close the value and charm of Namhansanseong, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
