Yongin Youth Festival

This event commemorates Youth Day 2026, planned and led directly by young people taking part on their own initiative. Programs for youth participation and hands-on experience, such as the Youth LAB program and the 'Youth Lecturer of the Month' classes, open up a space where the younger generation can communicate, come together, and share youth culture. The subtitle of the 2026 Yongin Youth Festival, 'Cheongnyeon? Neodo yong? Nado yong!' ('Youth? You're a yong too? I'm a yong too!'), carries the meaning of creating opportunities for Yongin's young people to build rapport, share culture, and connect. The 'Warallala' daytime beer gathering and the 'Eullebore' board game program give local youths chances to get to know one another; through the 'Udangtangtang' spot-the-fake game and the 'Yorijori' festival tour challenge, participants can enjoy linked events such as the Republic of Korea Joayong Festival; and the 'Warigari' speed OX quiz offers a time to explore everything from youth policy to culture.
