World Heritage Committee Korea Pavilion (K-Heritage House)

Held to commemorate Busan's hosting of the 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee, this is a special cultural event that showcases Korea's World Heritage, Intangible Heritage, and Memory of the World in one place. Taking place at BEXCO in Busan in July 2026, the event presents a diverse range of programs designed around "the value of Korea's heritage recognized by the world." The exhibition space will offer immersive experiences starting with a themed hall introducing Korea's 17 World Heritage sites, a Memory of the World exhibition, a national-heritage media-art exhibition, and a visit-campaign experience. On-site programs include a recreation of the dignity of the Joseon dynasty through the Suwon Hwaseong guard-changing ceremony and intangible-heritage performances and demonstrations where visitors can feel the breath of master artisans, along with a "K-Goods Shop" featuring sensibly designed traditional souvenirs: a rich array of content through which visitors from all over the world can experience national heritage in a more approachable way.
