SIYF

The Siheung Youth Club Festival (SIYF) is a youth-led, participatory festival created to encourage self-directed club activity among young people and to broaden communication and exchange between youth clubs and the local community. Teenagers active across many fields, from civic engagement, volunteering, academics, sports, dance, and bands to culture and the arts, plan and run the festival themselves, and it has become a stage where they share their talents and strengths with the community. In particular, it is Korea's largest youth club festival, created together by 584 clubs and some 7,800 young people taking part in the Siheung youth club support program, and it presents a colorful lineup of content including performances, hands-on experiences, exhibitions, and exchange programs. It is also expanding opportunities for global cultural exchange through cooperation not only with Korean youth but with young people overseas and international exchange organizations, growing into an international youth festival where diverse cultures and values coexist.
