Busan, the Temporary Capital, National Heritage Night Walk

The 2026 Busan, the Temporary Capital, National Heritage Night Walk is a nighttime historical and cultural festival held under the slogan "Walking the City of Memory, Busan, the Temporary Capital, and Its Emotional Heritage" on July 24 to 25, 2026 around Yurari Square and across the temporary-capital Busan heritage sites. It shares the history and cultural heritage of 1950s Busan as the wartime temporary capital with citizens. Conceived as a festival "with citizens and with the world," it is designed so that local residents and domestic and international visitors can take part together and vividly experience the history and culture of temporary-capital Busan. The festival is composed of 8 night themes and a total of 20 programs, offering a special time to vividly experience the past and present of temporary-capital Busan through diverse content that blends history, culture, art, and digital technology, including a media facade on Yeongdo Bridge, a pop-up museum of modern and contemporary life history, a showcase by young artists at Mildalwon, and an AR stamp tour.
