Suwon National Heritage Night Walk

The Suwon National Heritage Night Walk is a nighttime cultural heritage festival held around Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon. Built on the area's distinctive historical and cultural assets, it takes place from Banghwasuryujeong pavilion through Hwahongmun gate and along Suwoncheon stream, at Yongyeon pond, and from the Haenggung Palace square to Paldalmun gate. Anchored on the fortress's major national heritage sites and cultural facilities, the festival is composed of exhibitions, performances and experience programs under eight 'night' themes: night scenery, night paths, night history, night paintings, night tales, night verse, night food and night stays. Programs run from 6 PM to 10 PM. The event is a playground of experiences, enjoying the night of the Hwaseong Fortress ramparts together with national heritage, with a rich lineup of programs through which to feel the charm of the fortress.
