Held in Geumsan, South Chungcheongnam-do, the home of ginseng with 1,500 years of history, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival raises visitor satisfaction with diverse experiences and attractions for all ages, including ginseng digging, red ginseng pack massages, red ginseng foot baths, an international ginseng trade fair, and traditional ginseng culture experiences, along with value shopping. Around the venue you can also taste healthy dishes made with ginseng and medicinal herbs. Held annually since 1981, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival has been designated a top national festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ten times and was selected as an Asia Signature Festival by the International Festival & Events Association (IFEA World) in 2024, building a formidable reputation as Korea's flagship industrial festival and growing into a global festival enjoyed together with people from all over the world.
